Sherline CNC Lathe Beginners Guide DVD
English | AVC 5639 Kbps, 720x480, 29.97 fps | PCM 1536 Kbps | 1.53 GB
Genre: eLearning
This video has been prepared by MakeCNC.com as an introduction to setup and use of the Sherline CNC lathe. It starts with basic out-of-the-box assembly and alignment and then covers the basics of g-code and getting started in CNC. A simple project is turned as an example. Though the video demo is cut using a Windows program called Mach3, working with the CNC lathe is accomplished in a similar fashion using the Linux operating system and EMC software included with your Sherline CNC lathe. For those new to both a Sherline lathe and to CNC this makes a good basic introduction to both and will get you from the shipping box to your first cuts. MakeCNC.com has also produced a video on using the CNC mill. It is available as P/N 5345.
